Srinidhi
Specialist prosthodontic dental care at Chembur Naka, Mumbai — led by Dr. Srinidhi L. Govind, MDS (Prosthodontics). From a single crown to rebuilding a complete smile, every treatment begins with a clear explanation of what is being done, and why.

Dr. Srinidhi L. Govind
Dr. Srinidhi completed her BDS with First Class with Distinction in Chennai, where she was named Best Outgoing Student of MAHER University in 2017. She then secured All India Rank 95 in NEET MDS on her first attempt, earning a postgraduate seat in Prosthodontics at Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, and graduated with four university gold medals.
For the past five years she has practised as a consultant prosthodontist at established multi-specialty practices in Sion and Chembur, Mumbai — work spanning full-mouth rehabilitation, implant-supported prostheses, and maxillofacial prosthetics, including obturators for palatal defects and feeding plates for newborns with cleft palate. She has presented this work at national conferences of the Indian Prosthodontic Society.
Two Sides to the Practice
The specialist work Dr. Srinidhi trained nine years for — and the everyday care every family needs from their dentist.
Restoring & Replacing Teeth
Prosthodontics is the dental speciality devoted to rebuilding damaged teeth and replacing missing ones.
Care for the Whole Family
Your family dentist should also simply look after your teeth — routine care is part of the practice.
One thing every patient gets, for every procedure: a clear explanation of what is being done and why — before anything begins.
A Compact Space, Planned to the Inch
A specialist unit at Chembur Naka where nothing is behind a curtain — from the treatment chair to the sterilisation station, the whole clinic is open to see.
Imaging at the Chair
The X-ray unit is mounted at the chairside, so imaging happens mid-procedure — the doctor sees the result there and then, and the patient never has to get up.
Sterilisation in Plain Sight
Every instrument that goes into a patient's mouth comes out of the autoclave sealed and sterilised. Patients are welcome to ask to see the sterilisation station.
Designed by the Doctor
Dr. Srinidhi was involved in every decision in the build — from the treatment chair to the wallpaper — so the space works the way a prosthodontist works.
What Is a Prosthodontist?
"Prosthesis" means a replacement for a part of the body — and that is exactly what the field does: it restores teeth that are damaged and replaces teeth that are lost. The path to becoming one is long: five years of BDS, a national entrance examination (NEET MDS), and then three further years mastering this single speciality. Nine years of training in all.
Practically, it means that if a tooth is broken, worn, or missing, a prosthodontist rebuilds or replaces it — a single crown, a bridge, dentures, teeth supported on implants, right up to rebuilding every tooth in the mouth. That is why this clinic is called a Dental and Implant Clinic: it is the core of what happens here.
Dentistry in India has nine recognised specialities, just as medicine has cardiologists and orthopaedic surgeons. Complex work is collaborative by design — gums are stabilised before anything is built, teeth that can be saved are saved, implants are placed where teeth are gone, and the prosthodontist designs the final result the whole team works towards. The clinic runs the same way: patients who need another specialist are referred to one, and other dentists' patients are welcome here for prosthodontic work.
